PKNA BONUS #32 and #33
↧
Bankin' the Duck

I meant to link to this a while ago, but then my little head got distracted by something shiny. I apologize for that, but here we go:
Banker has another PKNA-related project lined up: Bankin' the Duck, his new blog where he'll be going through the comic series while commenting on them in his own personal style. His own style being highly sarcastic, extremely rude and quite hilarious.
If you enjoy PKNA solely for their friendly all-ages charm, this may not be the blog for you. But if you don't mind seeing quite a lot of cuss words and having your favorite comic series lovingly torn to shreds before your eyes, I very much recommend you check it out.

Fragments of Autumn - The Motion Comic

You know that thing Banker has been working on? That incredibly ambitious motion comic project, taking one of the most acclaimed issues of PKNA and making it come alive, voice actors and all?
Well, it's here. And it's every bit as impressive as it sounds.
Fragments of Autumn - The Motion Comic
How was it Banker put it on his own blog? "I won't be humble. You should worship me. Right the f**k now."
I'm finding it very hard to argue with this man. I bow my head in deepest worship.
Especially now that he's declared his intention to take on PK2 before too long.

PK2 #1 - Ducklair
And so it begins...
Not one to rest on his laurels after crafting the Fragments of Autumn motion comic (which now has the seal of approval of Claudio Sciarrone himself - no seriously, he commented on the video!), Banker is back with what we've all been waiting for:PK2
This issue is probably my favorite out of ANY PK series, by the way. Enjoy.

The Salvation of the Duck Avenger + PK2 #3
Double feature - Banker and Blotling are back!
Blotling returns with 'The Salvation of the Duck Avenger', another classic tale from the start of the Avenger's career.
Blotling has of course already provided translations of the origin of the Duck Avenger: Both part one and part two.
And Banker returns with the third installment of PK2:
It is a good day.

Starting to suspect that Banker is in fact a machine sent from the future. This level of productivity just doesn't seem human.
(Also, the fact that he's still in contact with Claudio Sciarrone who's apparently got something brewing is just awesome!)
Oh, and in case you missed it, scroll down a bit if you missed issue #3, as well as Blotling's translation of a classic Duck Avenger tale!

PK2 #5 + #6
PK2 #5 - End of History
PK2 #6 - Alpha Waves
My apologies for being a bit slow. I was away for a couple of days. And in the meantime Banker of course finished two new issues. Because he's bad-ass like that.

Double dose of PK2
PK2 Special 2001 - Duckmall
PK2 #8 - Just a Friend
What's this? A special issue I've never read before? And issue 8 to boot?
I like it, Banker. I like it.

PK2 #9 - Degrees of Separation
PK2 #9 - Degrees of Separation
Banker's back. And this happens to be the last issue that was ever published in my country. From here on out, this is all new to me.
I love it.

PK2 #10 and #11
Ooph, I've been getting behind. But to anyone who hasn't been watching the comments, here's a very good start to your weekend, courtesy of Banker.
PK2 #10 - High Volume
PK2 #11 - The Weight of Memories

PK2 #12 + #13
Man, I can barely even keep up anymore. Awesome!
With Banker's current speed, it's very possible that you missed issues #10 and #11. Scroll down to find those. And now here's two more!

PK2 - The Final Issues
And here we are. Banker has done it people, and in less than five weeks. The entire series of PK2 translated. Look on his work, ye mighty, and despair!
And now: The final two issues of this awesome series.
PK2 #17 - In the Fire
PK2 #18 - Family Affairs
The end.
I haven't had time to read them yet (and I do NOT want to rush through this), but I am excited as HELL about getting to read these.
I don't know if Banker secretly loves it or hates it when we praise him to the skies - either way, I'm sure he'll reply with some cuss-filled sarcastic quip - but either way: I think we can all agree that the work he's put into this is truly awe-inspiring. And I know we're all thankful for it.
Now all together in the comment section:
HAIL BANKER!

If you're interested in being a part of Banker's next great project, check it out! And of course, if you haven't seen his LAST motion comic (which comes with the seal of approval of beloved PKNA artist Claudio Sciarrone), check that out here: Fragments of Autumn - The Motion Comic
In other news:
GERMANS: I've been told that Lustiges Taschenbuch Premium #4 will contain more stories from PKNA. The series marches on!
GREEKS: I've been told that the Mickey Mouse Mystery Magazine is now being reprinted in Greece on a bi-monthly basis. Huzzah!
Any other news of publications I might have missed? Let me know and I'll add them to the list.

The Return of Angus Tales
Angus Tales - Unannounced Visits
Maaaan, this little gem has been waiting down in the comments for a WEEK before I noticed it. Apologies, and big thanks to Banker.
The last bonus story to ever grace a PKNA comic was a return to classics: One last Angus Tale to round it all off. Enjoy.
Oh, and Banker doesn't wanna touch Trip's Strip, so I figure maybe I'll have a go at them at some point. I haven't been doing any real work since PKNA #11, so it's probably about time I start chipping in again.
